Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Assist with the preparation of federal and state tax returns and ensure full compliance with tax laws.
- Conduct regular audits of financial records to identify discrepancies and improve internal controls.
- Manage fixed asset tracking and assist in the annual budgeting process.
- Generate and maintain accurate reports for management and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the finance team to optimize cash flow and financial planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex financial data clearly.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (preferred).
