Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and accurate billing.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts to support organizational goals.
- Process payroll accurately and efficiently to guarantee that all employees receive their weekly pay on time.
- Maintain and organize financial records, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and assist external auditors as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
