Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Oversee financial reporting packages for executive leadership and stakeholders
- Lead internal control audits and compliance documentation
- Coordinate tax preparation and filing processes with external partners
- Develop and implement accounting process improvements
- Mentor junior accounting staff and cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Dynamics
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP
- Strong GAAP and tax compliance knowledge
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proven experience in process optimization
