Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, month-end closing, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements with adherence to GAAP standards
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and reconciliation activities
- Lead budgeting initiatives and variance analysis for department heads
- Implement internal controls to ensure compliance with SOX requirements
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly and annual reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and MS Excel (VLOOKUP/Pivot Tables)
- Proven expertise in month-end closing processes and reconciliations
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Excellent written/verbal communication and stakeholder management abilities
