Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate general ledger accounts, reconciliations, and financial statements
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes with precision and timeliness
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
- Prepare detailed financial reports for management and external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and all regulatory requirements
- Lead accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Collaborate with auditors during external examinations
- Mentor junior accounting staff to enhance team capabilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Expertise in full-cycle accounting and financial reporting
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and tax regulations
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong leadership abilities and cross-functional collaboration experience
