Responsibilities
- Process daily banking transactions accurately, including cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments.
- Greet customers warmly and provide superior customer service, answering questions and resolving issues efficiently.
- Open new accounts and cross-sell our suite of financial products, such as savings accounts, CDs, and credit cards.
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily transactions to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work environment, adhering to all bank security protocols and compliance regulations.
- Assist in the maintenance of customer records and update account information as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate's degree in Finance or related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service or cash handling is preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to handle large sums of money with high accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build rapport and interact professionally with a diverse range of clients.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new banking software quickly.
- Must be willing to obtain a Teller license or similar certification upon hiring.
