Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and income reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes with weekly reconciliation cycles
- Oversee payroll processing to ensure accurate and timely weekly payments
- Conduct internal audits and implement financial controls
- Collaborate with tax professionals for quarterly/yearly filings
- Develop financial models and forecasts for business planning
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and state regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- Demonstrated experience with weekly payroll systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and attention to detail
- Texas CPA license or actively pursuing certification
