Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end closes, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Lead accounts payable/receivable processes with 99.5% accuracy
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for executive leadership
- Implement and optimize internal controls to ensure SOX compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Oversee tax preparation processes and liaise with external auditors
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with 4+ years of experience
- CPA certification or actively pursuing CPA designation
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (NetSuite preferred)
- Deep knowledge of GAAP and Texas tax regulations
- Proven experience with financial statement analysis and reporting
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder interactions
- Experience in public accounting or corporate finance
