Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Lead budgeting and forecasting initiatives across departmental divisions
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations for tax filings
- Develop internal controls to enhance financial reporting accuracy
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel (VBA skills a plus)
- Demonstrated experience with multi-entity consolidations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder presentations
- Proven track record in process optimization
