We are looking for a strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced setting and can drive financial accuracy while supporting business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Conduct detailed account reconciliations for various accounts, including bank, credit card, and inter-company accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and support external audits by providing requested documentation.
- Collaborate with department heads to improve budgeting processes and financial forecasting accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, federal, and state regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree (MBA) is a plus.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) and advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial analysis techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
