Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance and month-end close procedures
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with actionable insights for stakeholders
- Lead accounts payable/receivable processes and optimize cash flow management
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and Arizona state tax regulations
- Develop and implement internal controls for financial risk mitigation
- Collaborate with audit teams during external examinations
- Maintain accurate fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA strongly preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Dynamics
- Proven track record in financial reporting and analysis
- Advanced knowledge of tax compliance and regulatory frameworks
- Exceptional problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills
- Experience with ERP implementation and process optimization
