Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and month-end close processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance reports, and executive dashboards
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX regulations, and internal financial controls
- Coordinate with external auditors during annual reviews and assist with tax preparation
- Lead accounts payable/receivable processes and optimize cash flow management
- Develop and implement financial forecasting models and budgetary analysis
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel with VBA skills
- Proven expertise in month-end closing, reconciliation, and financial reporting
- Strong understanding of GAAP, SOX compliance, and tax regulations
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder presentations
