Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance and reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Process payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable transactions accurately.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and reviews to identify discrepancies and improve financial controls.
- Collaborate with the finance team to optimize cash flow and budget forecasting.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) to track financial data and generate reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or equivalent professional certification.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in general ledger accounting and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially advanced Excel functions.
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite preferred).
- Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.
