Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations for 15-20 business clients
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with GAAP compliance
- Oversee month-end closing processes and reconciliations
- Lead tax preparation for S-Corps and partnerships
- Implement internal controls and process improvements
- Provide advisory services on cash flow optimization
- Mentor junior accounting staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance required
- CPA license or actively pursuing (minimum 2 years)
- 3+ years public accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- Strong understanding of Colorado tax regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Effective communication with diverse clientele
