Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Prepare accurate financial statements and management reports in compliance with GAAP
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Ensure compliance with federal/state tax regulations and audit requirements
- Maintain and enhance internal controls for financial data integrity
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public/private sector
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics, and advanced Excel functions
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines in fast-paced environments
