Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliation, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead internal audits and coordinate external examinations with CPA firms
- Develop and implement process improvements using accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP)
- Mentor junior accountants and provide training on financial procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Expert proficiency in GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Advanced Excel skills with experience in financial modeling and analysis
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks Enterprise)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for client and stakeholder interactions
- Washington State CPA license required
