Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Analyze financial data to support budgeting forecasting and strategic decision-making
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
- Lead cross-departmental financial reporting initiatives
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial controls
- Mentor junior accounting staff and coordinate audits
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel (Power Query/Pivot Tables)
- Proven expertise in financial statement preparation and analysis
- Strong understanding of SOX compliance and internal controls
