Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end closes, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and tax compliance
- Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure audit readiness
- Analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making and forecasting
- Lead cross-departmental projects for process optimization
- Prepare regulatory filings and ensure adherence to GAAP/FASB standards
- Mentor junior accounting staff and implement best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA strongly preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Proven track record in financial statement preparation and analysis
- Deep knowledge of tax regulations (CA/Federal) and audit protocols
