Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance across multiple states
- Develop and implement internal controls to enhance financial accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Lead audit processes and liaise with external auditors
- Maintain and optimize accounting systems (QuickBooks, SAP)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Proficiency in GAAP, FASB standards, and multi-state tax regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with expertise in pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and financial modeling
- Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise, SAP, or Oracle ERP systems
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for client and stakeholder interactions
