Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage daily accounts payable and receivable operations.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings.
- Conduct internal audits and reconciliation of bank accounts and credit card statements.
- Monitor budget vs. actual performance and provide variance analysis to management.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in general accounting or a similar role (CPA preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel (Advanced).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
