Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare accurate financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in compliance with GAAP
- Lead internal controls implementation and SOX compliance documentation
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and fixed asset management
- Coordinate external audits and provide supporting documentation to auditors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and MS Excel (including VLOOKUP/Pivot Tables)
- Demonstrated experience with financial reporting and regulatory compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for presenting complex financial concepts
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with competing priorities
