Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including general ledger maintenance and month-end close procedures
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable functions and cash flow management
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements for operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and financial planning
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP) for transaction processing and reporting
- Maintain compliance with federal and state tax regulations in Ohio
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required (CPA/MBA preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems with advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical abilities with experience in financial statement analysis
- Ohio CPA license or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex financial data
- Proven track record of meeting deadlines in fast-paced environments
