Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closing
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Coordinate internal and external audits with minimal disruption
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting accuracy
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives with department heads
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- CPA certification or actively pursuing CPA
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (Sage/QuickBooks)
- Deep understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Proven experience with month-end close and reconciliations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
