Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations for 15-20 diverse clients
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance (federal/state)
- Lead audits and ensure GAAP adherence for all client accounts
- Implement process improvements using QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Provide strategic financial consulting to business clients
- Mentor junior accountants on technical best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public/private accounting experience
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online and Xero platforms
- Strong knowledge of CA tax regulations and payroll laws
- Proven ability to manage complex financial portfolios
- Excellent communication and client management skills
- Advanced Excel proficiency with pivot tables and VLOOKUP
