Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements and regulatory compliance reports
- Lead month-end/year-end closing processes with precision and timeliness
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure financial integrity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Manage client relationships while providing strategic financial advisory services
- Mentor junior staff and optimize accounting workflows for efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and multi-state tax regulations
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Proven track record of improving financial reporting accuracy
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
