Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial records.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Conduct detailed bank reconciliations and intercompany account reconciliations.
- Assist in the annual audit process by providing required documentation and supporting schedules.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including vendor management and collections.
- Support the budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
- Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency in the finance department.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA certification is a major plus).
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and federal tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
