Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including general ledger maintenance and month-end close procedures
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with attention to detail and regulatory compliance
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and optimize cash flow management
- Conduct internal audits and implement financial controls to mitigate risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic financial planning initiatives
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and advanced accounting software
- Lead tax preparation processes and ensure adherence to federal/state regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with CPA certification required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Demonstrated expertise in GAAP principles and financial reporting standards
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Proven track record of improving financial processes and controls
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance preferred
