Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end closes, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and maintain general ledger integrity
- Collaborate with audit teams to facilitate external examinations and compliance reviews
- Develop financial forecasts and variance analyses to support strategic decision-making
- Implement process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency and controls
- Maintain compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax preparation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with full-cycle responsibilities
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting and GAAP standards
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
- Experience with ERP systems and financial controls implementation
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
