Responsibilities
- Manage month-end close processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and optimize cash flow operations
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements for multi-state operations
- Lead financial audits and collaborate with cross-functional teams on reporting initiatives
- Develop and implement process improvements for accounting workflows
- Analyze financial data to support strategic business decisions
- Maintain accurate fixed asset ledgers and depreciation schedules
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote work exposure
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated expertise in multi-state tax compliance and auditing
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication abilities for stakeholder reporting
- Proven experience with process automation tools
