Responsibilities
- Manage complex month-end/year-end close processes with 100% accuracy
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Lead internal control audits and compliance documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Mentor junior accountants on best practices
- Ensure SOX compliance and regulatory reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Deep GAAP, SOX, and tax compliance knowledge
- Proven experience with multi-state tax filings
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional communication and remote collaboration skills
