Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Oversee financial reporting for executive stakeholders and board members
- Analyze variance reports and provide actionable business insights
- Lead internal audit initiatives and SOX compliance documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting
- Maintain accurate fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in GAAP compliance and financial statement preparation
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks/NetSuite)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance (OR/WA focus)
- Proven ability to manage complex financial projects
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
