Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close processes and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements for multi-state compliance
- Lead tax planning and compliance initiatives across Tennessee and North Carolina operations
- Develop and implement internal controls to enhance financial accuracy
- Mentor junior accounting staff while maintaining compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic financial forecasting and budgeting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated expertise in multi-state tax compliance and regulatory reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder presentations
- Proven experience in healthcare or technology industry accounting
