Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL reconciliation and financial reporting
- Analyze variance reports and provide actionable insights to leadership
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and month-end closings
- Prepare and file compliance documents (tax, payroll, regulatory filings)
- Implement process improvements using advanced accounting software
- Mentor junior accountants and cross-departmental financial initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Proven expertise in GAAP compliance and financial analysis
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
