Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end closes, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process optimization
- Prepare and deliver insightful financial statements and management reports for C-suite executives
- Lead internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic financial decision-making
- Mentor junior accountants and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel (VBA/macros)
- Demonstrated expertise in complex reconciliations and intercompany accounting
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Experience with SOX compliance and internal controls frameworks
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present to non-financial stakeholders
