Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL, AP/AR, and month-end close
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with insightful commentary
- Lead compliance initiatives for federal/state tax filings
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Mentor junior staff and cross-departmental financial partners
- Support audits with documentation and reconciliation expertise
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance + CPA license required
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced Excel proficiency and ERP system mastery
- Deep understanding of GAAP and FASB standards
- Proven success in managing high-volume transaction processing
- Exceptional analytical and communication skills
- Boston-based candidates preferred
