Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for diverse client portfolios including GL maintenance, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Lead accounts payable/receivable processes with 95%+ accuracy targets
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly and annual reviews
- Implement process improvements using accounting software (QuickBooks/NetSuite)
- Mentor junior accountants and provide financial insights to executive leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with 5+ years progressive experience
- CPA certification or actively pursuing (required)
- Expertise in GAAP compliance and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting ERP systems
- Proven track record of managing complex multi-state tax filings
