Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, ensuring GAAP compliance and regulatory adherence
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Manage and reconcile multi-entity accounts, including intercompany transactions
- Develop and implement financial controls to mitigate risk and enhance reporting efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives
- Conduct internal audits and process improvement reviews
- Mentor junior accounting staff through best practices and professional growth
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Proven track record of managing full accounting cycles for multi-entity organizations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present financial insights to stakeholders
