Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Lead audits and compliance reviews for corporate and nonprofit clients
- Develop and implement financial controls to ensure regulatory adherence
- Analyze variance reports and provide actionable insights to executive leadership
- Maintain accurate QuickBooks and ERP system configurations
- Mentor junior accountants and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public/private accounting experience
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial statement preparation
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks Enterprise
- Experience with audit preparation and tax compliance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
