Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities
- Prepare and maintain accurate balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and NY state financial regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and tax preparation
- Implement and optimize accounting systems and internal controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote work exposure
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and advanced Excel functions
- Expertise in financial reporting, audit preparation, and regulatory compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
