Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for process improvement
- Prepare and review complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives
- Lead internal audit processes and ensure SOX compliance
- Develop and implement robust accounting controls and documentation
- Maintain accurate records in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle experience preferred)
- Act as key financial liaison for external audits and tax authorities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA strongly preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Power Query)
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and accounting software
- Proven ability to manage complex month-end and year-end close processes
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Exceptional communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
