Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Conduct thorough bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in general ledger accounts.
- Assist with the preparation of annual tax returns and audit schedules.
- Develop, monitor, and analyze departmental budgets to ensure financial targets are met.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial documentation and filing systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
