Responsibilities
- Oversee the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all deadlines are met and financial statements are accurate.
- Perform detailed account reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual audit and coordinate with external auditors.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with GAAP.
- Support budget preparation and variance analysis for executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is required.
- CPA certification or Master’s degree in Accounting is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting financial findings to stakeholders.
