Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable operations with precision and timeliness.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Oversee general ledger maintenance and ensure all journal entries are accurate and posted correctly.
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Collaborate with management to provide variance analysis and budget forecasting support.
- Assist with external audits and internal controls review processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate setting.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
