Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Conduct regular reconciliations of bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the annual audit process, coordinating with external auditors and providing necessary documentation.
- Monitor budget variances and provide recommendations to management for cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with the HR and Operations departments to streamline financial reporting processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
