Responsibilities
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with variance reporting
- Lead audit coordination and compliance documentation
- Develop and implement financial controls and procedures
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvements
- Collaborate with FP&A on budget forecasting and analysis
- Ensure adherence to GAAP and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA required)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Proficiency with QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Excel
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities
- Experience in public accounting or financial services preferred
