Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL reconciliation, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Lead audit preparation and compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations
- Analyze financial data to provide strategic insights for executive decision-making
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Implement process improvements using accounting software like QuickBooks and SAP
- Mentor junior accounting staff and cross-functional teams
- Develop financial models for forecasting and budgeting initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate sector
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP)
- Demonstrated experience with financial reporting and audit processes
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder presentations
- Ohio CPA license required or ability to obtain within 6 months
