Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing processes for diverse client portfolios
- Resolve billing discrepancies and disputes with diplomatic precision
- Generate monthly/quarterly financial reports for executive review
- Reconcile accounts receivable and maintain aging reports
- Collaborate with sales teams to ensure accurate contract billing
- Implement process improvements to reduce billing errors
- Train staff on billing systems and compliance protocols
- Ensure adherence to SOX and GAAP standards
Qualifications
- 3+ years' billing/accounts receivable experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, or similar billing platforms
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) a plus
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Exceptional problem-solving and negotiation abilities
- Experience with healthcare or financial services billing
- Proven track record of reducing DSO by 15%+
