Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Lead audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors
- Develop and implement financial controls to ensure compliance with GAAP
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Streamline accounting processes using ERP systems (SAP experience preferred)
- Maintain fixed asset ledgers and depreciation schedules
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expertise in month-end closing, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with complex formula knowledge
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
