Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss reports.
- Perform detailed bank reconciliations and account closures to maintain fiscal health.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and audits.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve internal processes and financial reporting standards.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) to track expenses and revenue streams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- CPA certification is a significant plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel functions, accounting software, and ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial regulations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-finance stakeholders.
