Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including general ledger maintenance, month-end closing, and financial statement preparation
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure timely reconciliations
- Conduct detailed financial analysis and variance reporting to support business decisions
- Implement and optimize internal controls for compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Lead tax preparation processes and coordinate with external auditors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate setting
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (Sage 100 experience a plus)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with month-end closing and financial reporting
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
